Long Caye in the Lighthouse Reef Atoll is a remote tropical island about 50 miles off the coast of Belize. The island is about 3/4 mile wide and 2 miles long. The island does not have cars, but boardwalks and paths, 2 docks, dive shops, a few lodges, a few personal residences, beach volleyball, a place for a bonfire on the beach, and mangroves and beaches. The island rarely has over 50 people on the island. The best diving, snorkeling and fishing in Belize is located minutes from Long Caye including The Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye.
